Impregnated diamond non coring bits
Impregnated diamond non-coring drill bit hole sizes are available in in 56mm, 60mm, 76mm. The drilling portion of the non-coring bit is unique for the matrix of it is impregnated with diamonds, the idea behind impregnating the diamonds within the drill bit is quite simple. Size wise, the diamonds are relatively small, however, they are cutted in a manner which they decrease rotational speeds, considering this, these types of non coring bits are not well equipped for rotary drilling due to the low speeds, on the other hand, these drill bits can be run together with high speed positive displacement motors and turbo drills to increase the rotary speed, this is one way the impregnated diamond non coring bit can be modified for use in rotary drilling.
